Job Description: Division ELT and Schools Publishing,Content and Editorial Management – encompassingdigital and print projects and components Location: United Kingdom (preferably in and around London / the South of England) Reporting Line: Reports into: Editorial Director -ELT and Schools Responsibilities: Responsible for: 1. Proposals: along with offshore Editorial Manager and EPMs of the ELT and Schools DU, develops client proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs): costs, workflow and resources. Outputs delivered efficiently and effectively. 2. Selecting and allocating onshore content and editorial resources for Integra ELT and Schools projects whilst maintaining the established margins for Integra 3. Overseeing the Editorial Project Managers working on ELT and Schools projects, or where required, manage the work carried out by content and editorial resources 4. The seamless integration of this content and editorial work with the Delivery Unit Designers, Illustrators and Editorial Project Managers (EPMs). Role Summary The role involves the following activities: PROJECTS • Assess client request for proposals and supports offshore team in this activity • Assess client processes, workflows and manuscripts to ensure projects are feasible for Integra • Plan and budget for content/editorial resource requirements • Hire, and briefcontent/editorial resources (freelance or other) for individual projects • Manage the EPMs on ELT and Schools projects, or the content and editorial resources where required • Manage and oversee the reporting on the content/editorial status of projects • Ensure proactive communication with all stakeholders • Manage stakeholders with requirements to understand Integra’s process for ELT and Schoolscontent and editorial work • Review performance (all components) at all stages and be responsible for the content quality of the final product Editorial work may also be carried out by the Editorial Manager, as and where appropriate. RESOURCING • Responsible for the development and management of ELT and Schoolsonshore content and editorial freelancer database, and content partners (relationships and performance) • Ensures performance of freelancers and content partners matches client and Integra quality standards. INTEGRA CLIENTS • Builds solid relationships with the client • Where feasible, is available for calls and face to face meetings with the client along with the Integra Account Manager, Project Manager, and/or Editorial Director: ELT and Schools • Engages with client to ensure successful preparation and delivery of RFPs, RFIs and proposals • Where feasible, supports and accompanies KAMS on customer visits and provides relevant information or presentations as appropriate relating to content services. Internal/External Interaction Internal • Onshore Team • ELT and Schools DU • Integra’s Digital Team • Inside Sales and KAM Team • TER / Pricing Team • Quality Team External • Client contacts as appropriate for ELT and Schools projects • Freelancers, partner organizations and other collaborators • Bachelor's degree required (publishing qualification desirable) • Minimum 8 years’ experience inELT and Schools publishing • Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing ELT and Schools content • A deep understanding of the content development process for the different ELT market segments • Experience in managing (development) editors • Experience with ELT and Schools Digital publishing • Excellent customer-facing skills • Excellent people management, decision making, and editorial skills • Excellent time management, communication, listening, and organizational skills • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines • Excellent attention to detail • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment • Experience working in a matrix relationship with (digital) delivery teams, sales and marketing • Experience with Service publishing desirable.
